Financial assistance of ₹ 3,000 per month is provided under Palak Mata Pita Yojana for the development of orphans. This financial assistance helps in meeting the needs of the child like food, education, clothing and health care. Children coming under this sarakari yojana are given priority to get admission in government/granted schools. In some cases, such children may also benefit from other government schemes like scholarships.
Palak Mata Pita Yojana documents required
To apply under the Foster Parent Scheme, you will need the following documents
- Child's Birth Certificate / School Leaving Certificate
- Attested death certificate of the child's parents
- Mother's Remarriage Certificate / Marriage Registration Certificate
- Proof of Remarriage / Proof if mother has remarried.
- Income proof (income above ₹27,000 for rural areas and ₹36,000 for urban areas)
- Attested copy of joint bank account of child and foster parents
- Copy of child's Aadhaar card
- Attested copy of ration card of foster parents
- Certificate of the standard in which the child is studying
- Copy of Aadhaar Card of foster father/mother

To avail the Palak Mata Pita Yojana of Gujarat Government, you have to apply online, here you are given the guidance
- Go to Samaj Kalyan Portal (Samaj Kalyan Portal par jao): First of all, go to the online portal of Social Welfare Department, Government of Gujarat. This website link is: esamajkalyan.gujarat.gov.in
- Register (Nondhni Karo): An option of "New User Registration" will appear on the right side of the website. Click on this option and register by entering your details like name, mobile number and email id etc. After completion of registration you will receive login id and password.
- Login (Login Karo): Login to Samaj Kalyan portal with your login id and password.
- Select Application (Arji Pasand Karo): After login, you will see a list of various government schemes. Search for "Palak Mata Pita Yojana" and click on it.
- Fill the Online Application Form (Online Arji Form Bharo): You will see the online application form. In this form you have to enter your and child's detailed information like name, date of birth, address etc.
- Upload Documents (Dastavejo Upload Karo): After filling the application form, scanned copies of required documents have to be uploaded. These documents include birth certificate/school leaving certificate of child, death certificate of parents, proof of remarriage (if applicable), proof of income (if applicable), bank account details, documents of guardian/foster parents and education certificate of the child. happens
