The Gujarat Government has launched the Cattle Shed Sahay Yojana 2024 to facilitating animal rearing by issuing financial aid to construct animal house. The rationale for this scheme is to solve calamity-related problems that affect farmers, and mainly because animals which they rear for their livelihood lack proper shelter. Eligibility and Assistance 

 

The applicants have to abide by some prerequisites to avail Cattle Shed Sahay Yojana. The scheme also offers cash back for pastoralist friends, and there is also what is known as bank credit from which one can purchase catt under this scheme. • There must vie for the post of a permanent employee and the applicant must be a resident of Gujarat. 

• Only the applicants that are not less than 18 years of age will be considered.

• A subsidy of up to 50% or Rs 1 lakh whichever is lower grant to enable the first time promoters to meet a part of their first year operational expenses. MNREGA cattle sheds construction fund of 50 lakh is available.  

• Therefore for construction of sheds for Kankerji or Gir cows, a subsidy up to 75% or Rs 2. 25 lakh is available.
